Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are more than 10 degrees cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 65 in Clifton down to 54 at High Point. Winds are mainly light from the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 26.

Finally some relief from the heat of the last few days as a cold front has moved offshore and high pressure builds in from the west. Today we will have plenty of sunshine along with cooler and much drier air as highs will be only in the low 80s and dew points in the comfortable 50s.
Mainly dry and seasonably cool weather with continued low humidity Monday through Wednesday, although there is a slight chance of a shower on Monday.
A slow moving frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday afternoon through Saturday. Temperatures will still be in the 80s but the humidity will slowly rise.
