Skies are partly cloudy early on this Labor Day morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 71 in Clifton down to 61 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 66.

High pressure ridge over the southeastern states will give us another hot day today with slightly more humidity as dew points rise to the upper 60s. We may see some partial clouds this morning with a slight chance of some sprinkles. Skies will then become mostly sunny this afternoon. Highs will be in the low 90s and with the humidity it will feel like the mid to upper 90s and a heat advisory is in effect.

Hot and humid weather to continue through the day on Thursday.

A slow moving frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday night through Saturday, high temperatures will be cooler but the humidity will remain high.

Somewhat cooler and drier weather for Sunday along with partly sunny skies.

SUNDAY – SEP 10 – Partly sunny and less humid, highs in the low 80s.
