Good morning everyone!

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 95 LOW: 73 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Another day of very hot and humid air today with some more record highs possible as the high pressure ridge slowly moves offshore. Highs again will be in the mid 90s and with dew points near 70 will cause heat indexes to be over 100 degrees. A heat advisory is in effect. There is a low chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight mainly to our north and west.

Friday will be less hot as a frontal system approaches our area, but the humidity should rise with dew points in the low to mid 70s. There will be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Unsettled weather for the weekend with warm temperatures and high humidity and showers will be likely both days but it shouldn’t be a complete washout as there will also be some dry periods.

Still a chance of showers on Monday, then mainly dry with less humidity on Tuesday.

Another frontal system may give us some more showers on Wednesday.

Hurricane Lee is expected to become a powerful hurricane but should stay offshore but will likely cause more dangerous surf along our beaches by late next week.
