Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and again there is some patchy fog in some areas. Temperatures are mainly in the mid to upper 60s. The winds are calm or light northerly. The air quality is good with an index of 33.

The front that gave us the rain yesterday will still be in our area today with showers again becoming likely by this afternoon and continue off and on through this evening. The humidity will continue to be high.
A weak ridge of high pressure will give us a dry day on Tuesday but another frontal system will give us a chance of more showers developing late at night.
The frontal system will likely move slowly through our area on Wednesday with more showers and possibly some thunderstorms on Wednesday.
Finally dry weather with much less humidity and seasonably mild temperatures Thursday through the weekend, although shore areas will have to deal with heavy surf and dangerous rip currents from Hurricane Lee.

TROPICS: Hurricane Lee with top winds of 120 mph is expected to get a little stronger as it moves well off our coast. Strong surf and dangerous rip currents are likely Wednesday through the weekend.
