Skies have become overcast early on this Monday morning and temperatures are about 10 degrees warmer than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 30 in Clifton down to 26 at Hackettstown. Winds are mainly light from the south. The air quality is good with an index of 44.

High pressure has moved off the coast and a southerly flow will cause temperatures to rise to the 50s by this afternoon. A very weak disturbance is bringing cloudy skies early this morning with even some sprinkles or flurries just to our north. Skies will become mostly sunny this afternoon.

Tuesday will be mild again but a frontal system approaching from the west will cause rain at night.

Very mild with rain Wednesday and Wednesday night as a strong cold front approaches from the west.

Some snow showers are possible early Thursday morning followed by clearing, windy and much cooler air.

High pressure will dominate our weather on Friday giving us mostly sunny skies with lighter winds and milder temperatures.

At this time the weekend looks to be mild and mainly dry, another weak disturbance may touch off some showers on Saturday but at this time it is only a slight chance.

SATURDAY – MAR 2 – Mostly cloudy, highs in the low 50s.

SUNDAY – MAR 3– Partly sunny, highs in the upper 50s.
