Skies are mainly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are once again quite cold with readings ranging from 25 in Clifton down to 17 at High Point. Winds are light from the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

High pressure over the area today will give us a mostly sunny and cool day today but with much less wind than yesterday. Increasing cloudiness tonight.

A low pressure system will give us rain on Saturday. The rain will begin before dawn and become moderate to heavy especially from mid afternoon through the evening. A flood watch is in effect for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches of rain with some higher amounts possible.

The storm will move away on Sunday will should have a mostly sunny and seasonably cool day with a brisk wind.

Dry with near seasonably temperatures as high pressure builds over the area.

Another low pressure system will likely give us more rain Wednesday into Thursday.
