Sunny and very warm again today! Warm and humid on Thursday with some strong thunderstorms possible late in the afternoon and evening! Mostly sunny and warm on Friday! Unsettled weather on the holiday weekend with a chance of scattered showers each day!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are quite mild with readings ranging from 65 in Clifton down to 53 at Walpack. Winds are light from the southwest. The air quality is moderate with an index of 52.

Another very warm day today as high pressure is just off the coast and a southwesterly flow will continue in the area. Skies will be sunny with highs again well up into the 80s.

A cold front is expected to approach the area on Thursday and then move offshore in the evening. Expected a very warm and humid day with showers and thunderstorms likely mainly after 5 p.m. Some of these storms may be strong to severe.

Weak high pressure then will build into the area on Friday giving us a mostly sunny and warm day with a little lowering of humidity.

Unsettled weather for the weekend as some weak fronts and areas of low pressure will be in our area. There is a chance of showers each day with the highest probability will be on Memorial Day. Temperatures will be warm Saturday and Sunday but cooler on Memorial Day as we will have more clouds.

SATURDAY – MAY 25 – Partly sunny with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers, highs in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – MAY 26 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 80s, chance of showers after 8 p.m.

MEMORIAL DAY – MAY 27 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, highs in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – MAY 28 – Partly sunny with still a chance of showers, highs in the upper 70s.
