High pressure will be moving off the coast and it will cause a south-southwest flow of warmer and gradually more humid air into our area. We should have more sunshine today than the last couple of days.
Very warm and humid on Friday, we should have mostly sunny skies, but a cold front moving through the area Friday night will give us showers and thunderstorms, some that may become severe.
High pressure will then give us a very nice weekend with plenty of sunshine both days, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.
A heatwave is expected next week with little or no precipitation. Monday’s highs will still be in the 80s but the rest of the week high temperatures will reach well up into the 90s.
