Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and tempertures are cooler than the last couple of days with readings ranging from 61 in Clifton down to 55 at High Point. Winds are from the northwest around 10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 23.

A nice change in airmass today that should last through Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area from the Midwest. Mostly sunny skies will prevail each day with only a slow increase in temperatures.
Warmer and more humid weather will be with us starting on Independence Day and last through the weekend. There will be a chance of showers after 8 p.m. on the 4th with shower chances continuing Friday and Saturday. Sunday should be dry.
