After three days of comfortably warm weather to start off July the heat and humidity will be with us starting today and last for at least the next several days.

A warm front is moving through the area this morning and we will have an increase in humidity as dew points that were in the 50s the last few days will rise to the oppressively low 70s by tonight. Skies will be partly sunny and we will have a chance of some isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly after 5 p.m.

Mostly cloudy and very humid Friday and Saturday with showers and thunderstorms more likely as a weak front moves through our area.

Sunday and Monday should be rain free as weak high pressure builds over the area. Temperatures will be hot but the humidity should be somewhat lower.

Another weak frontal system will bring back the humidity for Tuesday and Wednesday with again a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
