Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there are some light showers falling over parts of the area. Temperatures range from 70 in Clifton down to 61 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity remains high. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

A cold front has moved to our south and we will have an onshore flow of much cooler air today. Skies will remain cloudy and there is a chance of some light showers.
The cooler weather will continue through the day on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and still a chance of showers. Showers will become more likely Thursday night as a warm front moves into the area.
At this time the remnants of Debby look to move west across central Pennsylvania and we will have a strong southerly flow of much more humid air on Friday along with some heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Debby and a cold front will move offshore with still a chance of showers Saturday morning then clearing by the afternoon.
A nice stretch of weather Sunday through at least Tuesday of next week with plenty of sunshine each day, seasonably warm tempertures and low humidity.

FRIDAY – AUG 9 – Cloudy, windy and much more humid with showers and possibly some thunderstorms, some heavy rain possible, highs in the low 80s.
SATURDAY – AUG 10 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning then becoming mostly sunny and much less humid in the afternoon, highs in the mid 80s.
SUNDAY – AUG 11 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.
MONDAY – AUG 12 – Sunny, highs in the mid 80s.
TUESDAY – AUG 13 – Sunny, highs in the mid 80s.
