Skies are mainly cloudy and there are some showers falling in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 64 in Clifton down to 59 at High Point. Winds are light from the east. The air quality is good with an index of 29.

Today will be a mostly cloudy and cool day again, a weak disturbance is causing some showers that should end by 8 a.m. although there is a slight chance of showers into this afternoon.
Saturday will be a little warmer with again a slight chance of showers during the day. Showers and thunderstorms will become more likely mainly after 8 p.m. as a warm front moves through our area.
A cold front will cross the area on Sunday with a chance of more showers mainly before 2 p.m. The front will be followed by less humid air by Sunday night.
Cool and dry weather can be expected Labor Day through much of next week as a Canadian high will build into our area.
