Mostly cloudy with again seasonably mild temperatures today! Chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday! Mainly dry and cool Friday through the weekend!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from 61 in Clifton down to 45 at Walpack. Winds are light from the north. The air quality is good with an index of 39.

High pressure is moving off the coast and we will have more clouds today with a light onshore wind. Temperatures and humidity will be similar to yesterday with highs near 80 and dew points near 60.

Moisture from the low pressure to our south may give us some showers Wednesday into Thursday but latest indication are that most of the beneficial rainfall should stay to our south and east and we may only pick up a few hundreds of precipitation.

The low should move offshore on Friday with dry conditions likely through the weekend. High temperatures will be near seasonable on Friday but be below normal for the weekend.

SATURDAY – SEP 21 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 70s.

SUNDAY – SEP 22 – Partly sunny, highs near 70.

MONDAY – SEP 23 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected for Thursday; advisories expected for Friday and Saturday.
