Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 58 in Clifton down to 54 at Hackettstown and Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

A cold front moved through overnight and high pressure will build into the area from the west. We should have mostly sunny skies today with quite mild temperatures with highs well up into the 70s. The humidity will drop throughout the day and be in the 40s by this afternoon.

A frontal system will give us showers mainly before 8 a.m. Monday, with even a chance of a thunderstorm.

Canadian high pressure looks to dominate our weather the rest of next week and bring us the coolest air of the season so far. Highs will be in the 60s and overnight lows in the 40s with some 30s further inland. These temperatures are actually only a little below normal for this time of year.
