Skies are mainly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are seasonably cool with readings ranging from 50 in Clifton down to 38 at Sandyston. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 19.

Today will start off sunny but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon as a weak front approaches our area. There is a slight chance of a shower tonight into Wednesday morning but most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will be seasonably mild with highs near 70.

Wednesday will have that slight chance of a shower in the morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon with near seasonable temperatures.

The coolest air of the season is still expected for Thursday into Friday morning as highs will only be in the low 60s on Thursday with overnight lows in the 40s with the 30s inland. A little milder Friday afternoon as highs will reach the upper 60s.

Dry weather is expected for the weekend, highs on Saturday will be well up into the 70s. Sunday will not be as warm but highs will still be in the low 70s. A cold front will come through at Sunday night with a chance of showers followed by clearing and cooler weather for Monday.

SUNDAY – OCT 13 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 70s. Chance of showers at night.

MONDAY – OCT 14 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. this afternoon for high seas, winds north-northwest to 10 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected during the day on Wednesday; possible advisories Wednesday night into the day on Thursday; no advisories expected for Thursday night through Saturday.
