Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there may be some patchy frost in some inland areas. Temperatures range from 41 in Clifton down to 32 at Walpack. Winds are light from the west. The air quality is good with an index of 21.

Today will be a mostly sunny but cool day as high pressure builds from the northern Plains states. High temperatures will only be in the 50s but with less wind than yesterday.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny again but winds will be higher as the pressure gradient increases from a low off Nova Scotia in combination with the high pressure in the middle of the country which will give us a stronger northwest flow of cool air. High temperatures again will only be in the 50s.
Another mostly sunny day on Thursday with high temperatures only a few degrees higher than on Wednesday.
Friday will be milder during the day after a cool early morning with possibly more in the way of frost.
The dry weather pattern with a warming trend will continue through the weekend into at least the beginning of next week.
