Sunny and continued cool today! Dry weather is expected to continue through the middle of next week with warmer temperatures!

Skies are clear early on this Thursday morning and there is some patchy frost mainly inland. Temperatures range from 40 in Clifton down to a chilly 24 at Walpack. Winds are mainly light from the north.. The air quality is good with an index of 12.

Today will be a mostly sunny and cool day with a little less wind than yesterday as high pressure builds from the middle of the country. A coastal low is offshore but will stay far enough away to affect our weather.

The dry conditions that we have had so far this month looks to continue to at least the middle of next week. Temperatures will be milder with highs in the upper 60s on Friday and mainly in the 70s this weekend through Wednesday. A cold front may come through our area Wednesday night but with only an increase in clouds but at this time no precipitation is expected.

TODAY – OCT 17 – Some patch frost this morning then becoming mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

TONIGHT – Clear, lows in the low 40s.

FRIDAY – OCT 18 – Sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny, highs in the low 70s.

SUNDAY – OCT 20 – Sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – OCT 21 – Sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – OCT 22 – Sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 23 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northerly winds to 15 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. this evening through 6 a.m. Saturday morning; advisories likely to continue through Sunday night; no advisories expected for Monday.
