Sunny, breezy and continued unseasonably warm today! Slight chance of sprinkles late tonight followed by clearing, breezy and cooler weather for Thursday! Dry and seasonably mild Friday and Saturday! Dry and cool Sunday and Monday! Still dry and milder on Tuesday!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from 55 in Clifton down to 40 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 81.

High pressure will be moving off the coast and we will have a brisk southwest flow of again unseasonably warm air today with near record highs possible as the temperatures reach near the 80 degree mark.

A cold front will come through late tonight only accompanied by clouds and a slight chance of some sprinkles. The front will be followed by cooler and breezy weather along with clearing skies on Thursday.

High pressure will give us a sunny day on Friday with slightly above normal temperatures.

Some clouds but no rain on Friday night into Saturday, as another weak cold front moves through the area. Temperatures will again be a little above normal.

High pressure will then build into the area providing dry and cool weather for Sunday and Monday.

Dry weather is expected to persist next week with a warming trend. We may have our warmest Halloween on record as highs may reach well up into the 70s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy with a slight chance of a sprinkle, lows in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – OCT 24 – Sunny, breezy and cooler, highs in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 25 – Sunny, highs in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 26 – Mostly cloudy early then becoming mostly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – OCT 27 – Sunny, highs in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – OCT 28 – Sunny, highs in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – OCT 29 – Sunny and milder, highs in the upper 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly winds gusting to 20 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 6 a.m. Thursday morning though 6 a.m. Friday morning; no advisories expected Friday through Sunday.
