NOTE: Today is the 12th anniversary of Hurricane Sandy and the 13th anniversary of the October snowstorm that dumped around 6 inches of snow that caused many power outages due to the snow falling on trees that still had most of their leaves.

High pressure over us will give our area a partly sunny day today with high temperatures a few degrees milder than yesterday with light winds.

A warm front will pass through the area tonight with only a slight chance of drizzle. The front will be followed by a southwest flow of much warmer air on Wednesday along with mostly sunny skies.

Record warmth is expected for Halloween with plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise to near 80 degrees.

A cold front will cross the area on Friday, and at this time only a low chance of showers is expected. High temperatures will be a little lower than on Halloween.

At this time this upcoming weekend looks dry with near seasonable temperatures.
