Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are more than 10 degrees higher than this time yesterday, with readings ranging from 52 in Clifton down to 41 at Basking Ridge. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 52.

High pressure is moving off the coast and a southwest flow of much warmer air is moving into our area. Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the 70s, also it will feel a little humid with dew points near 60.
Record high temperatures are likely on Wednesday ahead of a weak cold front that will come through at night. High temperatures will be near 80 and again it will be a little muggy.
Dry and cooler Thursday through Saturday as high pressure builds from the west however temperatures will still be above normal.
A complex frontal system will likely give us some rainfall mainly Sunday night into Monday.
