An area of high pressure extends from the eastern Great Lakes to our area and this will give us another dry day with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than yesterday but will still be above normal.
A frontal system approaching from the west will cause increasing cloudiness on Wednesday but we should stay dry during the day. Rain will develop at night and continue heavy at times through Thursday. Rainfall amounts will average between 1″ and 1 1/2″.
The low pressure will be slow to move through the region so we will still have a chance of showers Friday into Saturday with colder temperatures, there may even be some snow over the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey.
High pressure will build into the area giving us dry weather Sunday and Monday with near seasonable tempertures.
