High pressure building from the west will give us a sunny day today with continued cold temperatures.
The high will be moving off the coast as a frontal system approaches from the northwest. Tomorrow, we should have an increase in clouds during the day, temperatures will continue to be below normal. Rain and snow showers will develop at night and continue into Thursday morning. We may have a dusting of snow in the Clifton area and a couple of inches is possible over the higher elevations to our north and west.
As the storm system moves to our north and east we will have strong winds on the backside of this low with some gusts to 45 mph. Skies should clear by the afternoon.
Arctic high pressure will build into our area on Friday and it will be quite cold and windy despite plenty of sunshine.
The upcoming weekend should be dry, temperatures will still be chilly on Saturday but a little milder on Sunday.
Milder early next week but we may have another chance of rain showers on Monday as a weak system approaches our area.
