The storm over the Canadian maritime region that has given us the strong winds the last few days is finally moving away as high pressure builds closer to our area. Today will be a mostly sunny day and not as cold and winds will diminish by this afternoon, so today will not be as harsh.

Low pressure will move to our south on Saturday with some mainly light snow showers in the morning, accumulations should only be a dusting to maybe 1/2 inch.

Sunday will be a rather nice day with mostly sunny skies, light winds and slightly above normal temperatures.

Dry weather should persist much of next week. Temperatures will be slightly above normal on Monday but colder air will move into the area on Tuesday and last through Thursday. It may be windy at times, but not as strong as we had the last couple of days.
