Low pressure off the Canadian Maritimes along with high pressure to our west will combine to give us a brisk northwest flow of cold and dry air today. Highs will be around freezing and with winds gusting to 30 mph will cause wind chills to be in the teens much of today despite plenty of sunshine.

Thursday will be another cold day but we should see an increase in clouds and perhaps some snow flurries in the afternoon and evening.

Friday looks to be the best day of the upcoming few days with plenty of sunshine, light winds and milder temperatures.

Saturday a cold front will cross our area at night, preceded by some rain showers in the afternoon and evening, highs will be in the 40s.

An Artic cold front will come through Sunday night, possibly accompanied by snow in the evening into early Monday morning.

Perhaps the coldest air of the season Monday and Tuesday as Arctic air will dominate our weather.
