Mostly sunny, still breezy and quite cold today! Increasing cloudiness on Wednesday and continued cold! Only a low chance of snow showers on Thursday! Dry Friday through the weekend with a slow moderation in temperatures!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite cold with temperatures ranging from 18 in Clifton down to 7 at High Point. Winds are still gusty out of the west. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

Our area is between a low pressure over the Canadian maritime region and strong high pressure over central Canada, the pressure difference will continue to cause winds to gust to 39 mph. Skies will be mostly sunny. Temperatures should stay below freezing all day.

Wednesday is expected to remain cold with a little less wind than today, we should see an increase in clouds.

The low pressure system that we have been following for Thursday will now move well to our south and east giving us only a low chance of some snow flurries or showers mainly in the afternoon.

Extensive high pressure will give us dry weather Friday through the weekend with a slow moderation in temperatures.
