Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 38 in Clifton down to 24 at Pequest. Winds are light from the northeast. The air quality is good with an index of 43.

Weak high pressure just to our north will continue to give us an onshore flow of air. Skies will become mostly sunny after the low stratus clouds in our area dissipate later this morning. With more sunshine high temperatures will be a few degrees higher than yesterday.
A warm front will cross the area late in the day on Saturday preceded by some possible drizzle in the morning. Skies will remain cloudy but temperatures will be mild.
A strong frontal system will give us rain and wind on Sunday. There will be a chance of showers in the morning then showers possibly heavy at times will develop mainly after 2 p.m. and continue through Sunday night. Temperatures will be quite mild with highs well up into the 60s. Winds will increase from the south with possible gusts over 40 mph. Rainfall amounts will average between 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
Chance of lingering showers Monday morning then becoming partly sunny and mild in the afternoon.
Tuesday and Wednesday look to be dry and quite mild.
Mild weather should continue on Thursday but a cold front approaching may give us a chance of showers.
