Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and with the calm winds there is a wide spread in temperatures with readings ranging from 53 in Clifton down to 41 at Pequest. The air quality is moderate with an index of 98 as some smoke from the wildfires in Ocean County have moved into our area.

High pressure over our area will give us a mostly sunny day with quite mild temperatures. The sky may become hazy at times from the wildfire in the pinelands.
The high will move off the coast on Friday giving us a warm and increasingly humid airmass in our area along with an increase in clouds.
Saturday will have showers as a frontal system moves through the area. Rainfall amounts should be around 1/2 of an inch.
Sunday will be sunny and cooler as high pressure moves into the area.
Mainly dry with a warming trend Monday through the middle of next week as high pressure moves off the coast.
