Another round of strong thunderstorms today; Flood watch continues in effect!

Skies are cloudy at daybreak this morning and it is warm and muggy, temperatures are near the 70 degree mark, winds are light.

I picked up another 1.85 inches of rain late yesterday afternoon and evening.

More strong thunderstorms will again develop this afternoon and continue into tonight as a cold front slowly approaches from the west, some of these storms will be accompanied by very heavy rain and possibly strong gusty winds, another couple of inches of rain is likely.  Temperatures and humidity levels will be similar to yesterday.  Skies will be mostly cloudy but we will have some breaks in the clouds especially this morning and early this afternoon.

The cold front will cross the area early on Wednesday with showers continuing till around noon.  Partial clearing Wednesday afternoon and it will be noticeably cooler and less humid.

Very pleasant weather Thursday and Friday, high temperatures will reach the low 80s and the humidity will be low.

Our string of nice weather weekends may be coming to a close as we may have some showers late in the day on Saturday continuing into Sunday, however if any precipitation that does occur it should be on the light side.
