Dry and very cold today, unsettled weather tomorrow into Monday!


It is a frigid morning with temperatures ranging from around 5 in the Clifton area to some below zero readings in some of the colder suburbs, skies are clear and the winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a partly sunny day with cold temperatures.

Increasing clouds tonight and not as frigid.

Saturday will be cloudy with some light snow or flurries with no accumulation.

It now appears that Sunday will be warmer with light snow changing to rain as an cold front stays to our north.

The front will move to our south on Monday with colder temperatures and we will have a mix bag of snow, sleet and freezing rain, at this time accumulations will be minor.

Clearing with seasonable cold temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Another Arctic cold front may give us some snow showers on Thursday followed by a return of frigid conditions next Friday through the weekend.

Monday – Cloudy with a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, high in the low 30s.

Tuesday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high around 30.

Thursday – Mostly Cloudy with a chance of snow showers, high in the low  30s.

Outlook – No advisories expected Saturday, with small craft advisories possible Sunday through Tuesday.
