Early this morning we have mostly clear skies and temperatures range from the low 30s here in Clifton to some upper 20s further inland, winds are light.
Skies will becoming cloudy this morning with precipitation in the form of rain and snow developing this afternoon and continuing into this evening, the best chance of snow accumulation will be the higher elevations inland like Schooleys Mountain in Morris County were there may be a couple of inches may accumulate, in the Clifton area there can be a coating mainly on grassy surfaces.
Clearing for the first day of April, temperatures will be slightly below normal.
Thursday looks to be a very nice day with highs in the upper 50s.
A frontal system will move into the area before daybreak on Friday which will cause showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms, it will become milder with high temperatures well up into the 60s.
Some showers may linger into Saturday morning followed by clearing in the afternoon, it will be breezy and cooler.
Easter Sunday should be a rather nice day with mostly sunny skies and seasonably cool temperatures.
Dry and seasonably mild conditions early next week.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.
GOOD FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, mild with highs in the mid 60s.
SATURDAY – Early showers then becoming partly sunny, breezy and cooler, highs in the low 50s.
EASTER SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.
MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.
MARINE FORECAST: Small craft advisory in effect till 6am on Wednesday. TODAY – Southeast wind to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day on Wednesday with possible advisories Thursday through Sunday.
