We have mostly clear skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures have dipped down to the upper 40s in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are light.
A cold front move to our south last night and high pressure is building into the area from the northwest, today will be much cooler than on Saturday with highs around 20 degrees lower than the 82 degrees that was recorded yesterday.
A low pressure system will develop to our southwest and rain with this system should move into the area before daybreak, the rain will become moderate to heavy in the morning before tapering off to showers in the afternoon and evening, highs will be nearly seasonably, expect around 1 1/2 inches of well needed rain with this system.
Some showers are likely before daybreak on Tuesday followed by gradual clearing and seasonably mild temperatures.
Wednesday will be partly sunny but some showers are possible in the afternoon and evening as a weak cold front comes through the area.
Cool and dry Thursday through the start of next weekend.
Looking at the long range pattern it appears that cooler than normal weather will persist through the end of April into the beginning of May and we should not see our next 80 degree day until at least sometime during the first full week of May.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.
SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 50s.
MARINE FORECAST: Today – East wind to 16 knots, seas 2-3 feet.
Small craft advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. this evening till 6 a.m on Tuesday.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected later Tuesday through Thursday.
