Outstanding weekend weather! Warmth to continue next week!


Skies have become partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s in the colder interior spots, winds are nearly calm.

Today will be a partly sunny day and temperatures will rise to near 70 degrees by this afternoon.

Sunday will be even warmer with highs approaching the 80 degree mark along with plenty of sunshine.

This upcoming week temperatures will be well above normal for the first week of May, Monday should be the warmest day with highs in the low 80s.

A cold front will give us a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Dry weather Wednesday through Friday with highs averaging well up into the 70s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low near 50.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon or evening showers, high near 80.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till noon today for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-5 feet, conditions diminishing this afternoon.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.

 

APRIL 2015 CLIMATE REPORT –  April averaged slightly above normal in temperature,  rainfall was below normal with 3.61 inches falling with 3.14 inches of that amount falling in the 24 hour period on April 20-21st.  The highest temperature for the month was 82 degrees recorded on the 18th and the lowest was 29 degrees on the 1st.
