Some showers this morning then clearing and warm! Nice Saturday! Rain on Father’s Day!


Some light showers have moved into the Clifton area and temperatures are mostly in the mid 60s in the area along with humid conditions and nearly calm winds.

We will have some showers continuing part of this morning as a warm front followed by a cold front moves through the area, after the fronts pass it will become mostly sunny and quite warm but the humidity will slowly lower throughout the afternoon.

Saturday will be an outstanding late spring day with comfortable temperatures and humidities.

The remnants of former Tropical Storm Bill will cause rain to develop after 10 p.m. Saturday night and continue on Father’s Day, some of the rain will be heavy and it will be humid, expect an average of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.

Warm Monday and Tuesday with some thunderstorms possible on Tuesday as a cold front moves through the area.

Dry with seasonably warm temperatures Wednesday and Thursday.

Looking ahead there are no heat waves expected through the beginning of July with temperatures slightly below normal.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning then becoming mostly sunny this afternoon, high in the upper 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s,  rain developing after 10 p.m.

FATHER’S DAY – Cloudy with rain and possibly a thunderstorm, some rain may be heavy, humid with a high in the low 80s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West winds to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.  Water temperatures are in the mid-upper 60s.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible on Sunday otherwise sub-advisory level conditions through Tuesday.
