Skies are mostly clear early this Thursday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the low to mid 50s further inland, winds are light.
I did go to a nearby park to watch the meteor shower and was disappointed seeing only six faint meteors in the 45 minutes out there, I expected more since the skies were clear and it was at the supposedly peak time.
Today will be a fine summer day with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.
Friday will be a couple of degrees warmer but the humidity will remain low and again with mostly sunny skies.
It will become hot and gradually more humid by the weekend and we should remain dry.
The heat will be with us most of next week with the only chance of showers around Wednesday. Humidity will be moderate but not oppressive as dew points will be mainly in the 60s.

Went out last night around 11 and saw one in about 15 minutes .. then, thanks to the nice rain the day before, the mosquito’s drove me inside… was up around 3:15 and went outside .. can’t remember ever seeing the milky way so clearly … and, hate to say it, but I saw six in about 5 minutes… so, thanks for the tip to go outside in the early morning !! (and sorry you didn’t see more)
