Less heat but more humidity the next few days! Best chance of heavy rain Thursday night into Friday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and it is warm and quite muggy, temperatures range from the low 70s in the Clifton area to the upper 60s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will not be as high as the last few day due to more clouds and more of a wind flow off the ocean but the humidity will be higher with dew points in the oppressive low 70s.  There is a low chance of an afternoon or evening shower and thunderstorm.

Thursday again will be very humid with partly sunny skies again with a chance of some showers and thunderstorms but most of the day and evening will remain dry.

A more likelihood of some widespread shower and thunderstorm activity on Friday, some of the rain will be heavy at times with some local flooding possible, it still will be quite humid.

The weekend at this point looks a little less humid but there still is a chance of showers both days.

Still a chance of showers into Monday as a front crosses our area followed by less humid air for Tuesday.
