Showers this afternoon through Sunday! Dry next week with a warming trend!


Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today a frontal system will move into our area from the west causing skies to become cloudy by noon with showers this afternoon and tonight, some of the rain may be heavy at times.

Sunday may start off dry but more showers are likely in the afternoon.  Total rainfall amounts this weekend should be around an inch.

Dry weather next week, temperatures will be near normal on Monday but rise to well above normal levels the rest of the week.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Increasing cloudiness with showers likely this afternoon and a chance of a thunderstorm, high near 80.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers and possibly a thunderstorm, low in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers likely with a chance of a thunderstorm, high in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southeast wind to 13 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible advisories for Sunday night into Monday, no advisories expected Tuesday and Wednesday.

Water temperatures are still quite warm in the mid 70s.
