Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s in Clifton to the low 50s in some of the inland spots, winds are from the southeast around 10 mph.
Rain will move into the area by mid morning and becoming heavy at times this afternoon and evening as a slow moving cold front approaches from the west. A southeast flow will keep temperatures quite mild for this time of year with highs in the 60s. The rain may be accompanied by a rumble or two of thunder, rainfall amounts of around one to one and half inch is likely. What a difference from a year ago on this date when the low was 18 and the high was only 33 chilly degrees.
Rain should end around midnight tonight with clearing by daybreak on Friday, temperatures tonight will still be mild but only rise a couple of degrees during the day on Friday.
A mainly dry and seasonably cool temperatures over the weekend with the only chance of showers would be around Saturday night, inland it may be cold enough for some snow showers.
Dry weather most of next week, Monday will be the coldest day with a moderation in temperatures as the week goes on. At this point Thanksgiving will be dry with highs in the mid 50s with even milder readings for the rest of the holiday weekend.
