Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy with some pockets of fog early this morning, temperatures are once again above normal ranging from the upper 30s here in Clifton to the low 30s in the colder inland areas, where it is colder there may be black ice on the roads and sidewalks so use caution in those places.
We will continue to see mostly cloudy skies during the day today but temperatures will be mild with highs approaching 50 degrees. a weak low pressure system will likely give us a few hours of light rain tonight ending before daybreak tomorrow morning, expect less than a 1/4″ of rainfall.
We will see more sunshine on Thursday with continued mild temperatures and for those brave enough to go to Time’s Square tomorrow night will have rather nice temperatures with readings around 40 degrees when the ball drops.
A period of seasonably cool and dry weather is expected from New Year’s Day through early next week with highs mainly in the low 40s.
