Dry with seasonably cold temperatures today and Friday! Mild and a mainly dry weekend! Significant storm possible next week!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and it is cooler than this time yesterday morning with readings ranging from the mid 20s here  in Clifton to around 20 inland, winds are a little brisk from the northwest.

High pressure will control the weather today and tomorrow giving us seasonably cold conditions, high temperatures both days will be in the 30s, winds will be on the brisk side today with lighter winds on Friday, no precipitation is expected.

Temperatures will be milder over the weekend and it should stay mainly dry, highs both days will be in the low 50s, quite a big difference from the frigid weather of last weekend.

A little cooler on Monday but staying dry.

A storm system is expected to develop over the southeast states on Tuesday and track through our area on Wednesday, yesterday’s run of the European model had the storm offshore and give us significant snow however the overnight runs of both the European and GFS models has a track over or just to our west which would mean mainly rain for our area with snow only well inland, still plenty of time to watch how the plays out so stay tuned for further updates.
