Light snow will end this morning! Chilly weekend with a low chance of snow showers Sunday morning! Much warmer next week!

Light snow is falling early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the upper 20s here in Clifton to around 20 further inland, less than an inch has accumulated so far mainly over colder surfaces, roads here just appear wet.

Snow will end this morning as the low pressure moves offshore and rapidly intensifies but too far east to give us any significant snow, total accumulation will be about an inch in Clifton and a little more to our south and east.  Clearing will take place this afternoon but it will be chilly with highs only in the 30s, a brisk wind will make it feel colder.

The weekend appears to be mainly dry and chilly but a weak disturbance may produce some snow showers Sunday morning.

A warming trend will begin next week, highs on Monday will be in the 50s, with 60s on Tuesday and near 70 on Wednesday.

A cold front will slip down on Wednesday night giving us a chance of showers, it will be a little cooler on Thursday.
