Dry and mild today! Showers likely late tonight into Tuesday! Dry and cool Wednesday! Chance of showers again on Thursday!


We have mostly cloudy skies early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from around 50 here in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

High pressure will be moving off the coast today giving us a southerly flow of mild air along with mostly cloudy skies.

A front will approach the area from the north tonight and pass south of us on Tuesday afternoon, rain will develop late tonight and continue into Tuesday evening with a chance of a thunderstorm or two, temperatures will be mild ahead of the front but turn cooler late in the afternoon and at night.

High pressure will briefly move in for Wednesday giving us plenty of sunshine with seasonably cool temperatures.

Cool with a chance of showers on Thursday followed by dry weather Friday through the weekend along with continued seasonably cool temperatures.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly cloudy, high near 70.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers this evening becoming more likely after midnight along with a possible thunderstorm, low in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – Cloudy with periods of rain and a possible thunderstorm, high near 70.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy and cool with a chance of showers, high only in the upper 50s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 14 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory will be in effect from midnight tonight till midnight Tuesday night.  No advisories expected Wednesday and Thursday with possible advisories for high seas on Friday.
