Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and it is quite cool once again with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s here in Clifton to some low 40s in the colder inland valleys, winds are nearly calm.
A warm front will move through the area early this afternoon accompanied by a widely scattered showers and followed by warmer and much more humid air, dew points that are in the 40s this morning will rise into the 60s by this afternoon. In the warm air scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop some of these storms may be quite strong with some gusty winds and hail, the chance of storms over a particular area is less than 50% so I would not cancel any outdoor plans but keep an eye to the sky this afternoon and evening.
A cold front will cross the area early on Sunday morning followed by much less humid air, it will become windy also with possible gusts over 30 mph.
High pressure will be in control of the weather much of this upcoming week with plenty of sunshine each day along with near seasonable temperatures.
