Our area has cloudy skies early on this Monday morning and there is some drizzle falling in parts of the area. Temperatures are cool ranging from the upper 40s in the Clifton area to the mid 40s further inland, winds are light north-northeasterly.
A warm front will be passing to our north later this morning bringing warmer and more humid air into the region; we should see some sunshine and we will have a brisk southwest flow.
A cold front then will pass the area after midnight tonight accompanied by showers and thunderstorms, some of these storms may be severe especially inland.
Tuesday will be dry during the day with plenty of sunshine and lower humidity, temperatures will still be above normal.
Cooler weather but mainly dry Wednesday and during the day on Thursday.
A low pressure area will slowly move into our area at the end of the week with rain Thursday night into Friday and a chance of showers lingering into the weekend. Temperatures during this period will slightly below normal.

TONIGHT – Showers likely late tonight with a chance of thunderstorms, low around 60.
TUESDAY – MAY 2 – Chance of an early shower then becoming partly sunny, breezy and less humid, high in the low 70s.
WEDNESDAY – MAY 3 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the low 60s.
THURSDAY – MAY 4 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s, rain likely at night.
FRIDAY – MAY 5 – Rain, high in the mid 60s.
SATURDAY – MAY 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.
SUNDAY – MAY 7 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.
MARINE FORECAST: Small craft advisory in effect till 8 p.m. on Tuesday; Today – South-southwest wind to 25 knots, seas building to 6-9 feet.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday into the day on Thursday; small craft conditions likely Thursday night into Friday.
