Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area down to some upper 50s in some spots further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low.

Today we will have another day of pleasant early July weather as high pressure over the northeast states dominates, we should enjoy seasonably warm temperatures along with continued low humidity and plenty of sunshine.

A frontal system approaching from the west will cause an increase in clouds on Thursday with a chance of showers mainly late in the day and evening, with the clouds and a light onshore wind high temperatures will be only in the 70s.

The frontal system will likely cause more showers and thunderstorms mainly on Friday morning, temperatures will be a little higher than on Thursday along with higher humidity.

A cold front will come through dry Friday night followed by high pressure which will set the stage for a nice weekend with seasonably warm tempertures and comfortable humidity levels.

The nice early summer weather will continue into early next week.   No heat waves are expected at least for the next two weeks.
