After having one of the best weather days yesterday, today will be quite a bit different. This morning clouds and some showers are moving through the area as a warm front approaches and passes through. Between about 10am and 4pm it should be rain free and with some sunshine temperatures will soar along with the humidity. This in turn will destabilize the atmosphere and there is an excellent chance of severe thunderstorms in parts of our area.. These storms have the potential to produce very heavy rain, damaging winds and hail along with a slight chance of an isolated tornado.
More thunderstorms Friday and Saturday are possible. Sunday and Monday will have the best weather.
