Good morning everyone!
A backdoor cold front moved just to our south early this morning and a brisk northeast flow of cooler air is moving into the area. Rain along with some thunder is now moving into the area from the south. Temperatures range from around 70 in the Clifton area down to the mid 60s further inland.
The front will move to our south and today will remain cloudy, some heavy rain this morning is possible tapering off to occasional showers this afternoon. Temperatures will gradually fall through the 60s today, much cooler than the 93 degrees that we had yesterday.
Weak high pressure will keep us dry on Memorial Day but we will still have considerable cloudiness. Temperatures will be in the low 70s.
Warmer on Tuesday and dry as high pressure moves off the coast.
Another backdoor cold front will cross the area on Wednesday but come through dry with cooler temperatures following the front.
Dry most of Thursday but some moisture from the tropics may give us some showers Thursday night into Saturday morning along with more humid air.
