Good morning everyone!
Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area down to 50 further inland, the humidity is low and there is a light northwest wind.
High pressure building into the area will give us a partly sunny day with temperatures cooler than yesterday with highs mostly in the upper 70s, winds will be a little gusty this morning but diminish this afternoon.
This weekend will be dry with temperatures warming into the 80s on Saturday with a 90 degree possible on Sunday, humidity will only slowly rise.
Monday looks to be the hottest day so far this year as high pressure moves off the coast and a southwest flow of hot and humid moves into the area, temperatures will be well up into the 90s and with increasing humidity will cause heat indexes to rise to near 100. Record highs are possible.
A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday with only a slight chance of a shower, temperatures will once again rise to near 90 degrees.
High pressure then builds in for the middle of the week, providing our area with dry conditions and seasonably warm temperatures.
