Good morning everyone!

Today we will have an increase in clouds as a low pressure moves up the coast, there is a low chance of a shower this afternoon but most of the heavy rain will be after 8 p.m and continue till around daybreak on Sunday. Winds will increase from the east-northeast with gusts up to 30 mph in the Clifton area and as high as 40 mph along the coast. Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches likely with higher amounts possible. High temperatures today with the clouds and onshore wind will only rise into the upper 70s.
Most of the rest of Sunday will be dry but there will still be a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night. Temperatures and humidity will rise as a warm front pushes north of our area.
Most of this upcoming week will be warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day. High pressure will be off the coast and low pressure will be to our west and that will cause a southerly flow of moist air. Dew points during the period will average in the oppressive low to mid 70s.
