Humid with showers and thunderstorms today! Humid weather this week to continue with chances of rain each day!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy early this morning and it is warm and very muggy outside, temperatures range from the mid 70s in Clifton only ranging down to 70 further inland, the humidity is high with dew points in the 70s and we have some showers in the area.

A strong flow of humid air is coming up from the tropics and will be with us this week as a strong high pressure is off the coast and a front is just to our west.  Today will be a rather cloudy day with showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day, some of the rain will be heavy at times.

A little lower chance of precipitation during the day on Tuesday but heavy rain is likely Tuesday night through Thursday morning.

Still a chance of showers Thursday afternoon through Friday night.

After a front passes the area Saturday we should have less humid air along with dry conditions Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
