Milder today with showers and possibly a thunderstorm! Dry Wednesday and Thursday! Rain likely on Friday!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy early on this Election Day and there is some drizzle falling in parts of the area, temperatures are mainly in the mid to upper 40s and the winds are light.

A warm front will cross the area this morning followed by a cold front this afternoon.  Any drizzle should end this morning but showers and possibly a thunderstorm will develop, the best likelihood of rain will be between 11 a.m till 4 p.m.   Temperatures will be mild with highs in the 60s.

Dry weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday and temperatures will be seasonably cool.

A frontal system will likely give us rain on Friday, this rain may be mixed with snow well inland in the morning and again before the precipitation ends Friday night.

The weekend looks to be dry but chilly with widespread 20s possible early Sunday morning.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – NOV 6 – Fog and drizzle this morning then showers developing later this morning with a chance of thunderstorms, gusty winds and heavy rain possible, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy with a low chance of an evening shower then becoming mostly clear, low in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 7 – Sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – NOV 8 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 9 – Increasing cloudiness with rain developing by the afternoon and continuing into the evening, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – NOV 10 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

SUNDAY – NOV 11 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – NOV 12 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.  Today winds becoming southwesterly to 30 knots, seas 4-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday and Thursday;  small craft conditions likely Friday and Saturday.
